Engineer II - QA

IEHP is a healthcare organization dedicated to serving its members and inspiring the human spirit. They are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer II to coordinate software testing processes, analyze results, and provide recommendations for improvement, while supporting an agile team and interfacing with end users to understand requirements. Responsibilities: Coordinate the process for analyzing software programs; Create and implement testing, recording the test results, and providing recommendations to improve software programs based on the test results; Work independently to accomplish QA duties required across IT at IEHP supporting testing efforts within an agile team and executing all levels of testing (System, API testing, Data validation, Integration, and Regression); Evaluate the organization's technical infrastructure for security issues; Interface with end users to understand Qualifications: Three plus (3+) years of IT Quality Assurance experience; Experience with requirements development and documentation, and direct experience leading IT QA efforts; Experience with data validation and ETL processes testing; Experience with API testing tools such as SOAPUI, Postman; API Testing Experience; Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment; Prior development or automation experience using functional Automation tools like Selenium, UTP etc; API testing using Automation tools; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business Administration, Healthcare, or a related technical field from an accredited institution required; In lieu of the required degree, a minimum of four (4) years of additional relevant work experience is required for this position. This experience is in addition to the minimum years listed in the Experience Requirements above; Must have Knowledge of healthcare industry - standard message EDI formats like HL7(ADT's, Orders, Charges), X12 (837/835, 270/271, 276/277), NCPDP, HIPPA etc. are required; Knowledge of IT SDLC Processes and QA practices Knowledge in SQL Query Writing and test automation tools a plus; Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; Excellent organizational skills; Excellent written and oral communication skills; Excellent listening and interpersonal skills; Proficiency with Microsoft PC desktop applications including Excel, Word, Project, and Visio; A keen attention to detail; Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language; Highly self-motivated and self-directed; Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment; Strong customer service orientation; A self-starter, able to work effectively with minimal direct supervision Required Skills: ETL testing, API testing, PL/SQL, Selenium, Data warehousing, Healthcare industry knowledge, Analytical skills, Customer service orientation, Organizational skills, Communication skills, Interpersonal skills, Attention to detail
