Junior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Thunderhawk Technology Partners is seeking a Junior SDET with strong fundamentals in Python and Java, and hands-on test automation experience. The role involves designing and maintaining test cases, executing automated regression suites, and applying AI tools for quality engineering. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain test cases based on project Qualifications: 2–4 years in QA Automation / SDET / Test Engineering roles; Hands‐on experience with Python and Java; Experience with Selenium / Playwright or similar tools; Familiarity with test frameworks (PyTest, JUnit, TestNG); Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON; Working knowledge of SQL for validation and troubleshooting; Git fundamentals; Exposure to Azure DevOps pipelines is a strong plus; Experience or strong interest in AI‐assisted development/testing; Ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and test coverage; Clear understanding that AI supports—not replaces—engineering judgment Required Skills: Python, Java, Selenium, Azure DevOps, SQL, AI-assisted Testing, Git, REST APIs, JSON, Test frameworks
