Project Manager

Valencia College is hiring two Project Managers to join their Office of Information Technology (OIT) Project Management Office (PMO). This role involves managing technology-driven projects that support the college’s mission and strategic goals, requiring strong project management skills and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: Leads the full range of project management cycle including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, troubleshooting, documenting and closing of projects within scope and timeline proposed; Partners with project sponsors to identify, prioritize and sequent project goals. Identifies internal and external key stakeholders and collaborates with them to understand, document, and prioritize Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution, or any equivalent combination of related education, training, and/or experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions; IT, computer science or related field; Significant years of full-cycle project management experience; Experience gathering and documenting project requirements, creating and scheduling projects and managing cost and stakeholder expectations; Experience with Project Management tools such as MS Project, MS Teams, or TeamDynamix PPM Required Skills: Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification, Project Management Tools - MS Project, Project Management Tools - MS Teams, Project Management Tools - TeamDynamix PPM, IT Project Management, Waterfall Methodology, Agile Methodology, Hybrid Project Management Methodology, Requirements Gathering, Budget Management, Vendor Management, Change Management, Relationship Management, Project Management, Decision Making
