Technical Project Manager

Sound Physicians is a physician-founded and led national multi-specialty medical group. The Technical Project Manager is responsible for driving the successful execution of enterprise data and analytics initiatives, ensuring cross-functional teams deliver high-value solutions aligned with business needs. Responsibilities: Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release readiness; Maintain visibility into delivery progress through velocity tracking, burndown charts, and issue logs; escalate risks or blockers proactively; Own end-to-end delivery of assigned projects, from scoping through release, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and Qualifications: Strong project management skills with proven experience delivering technical projects in data and analytics environments; Familiarity with enterprise data platforms (Azure, Synapse, Databricks, dbt, ADF) and BI tools (Power BI); Ability to facilitate Agile delivery, maintain backlog hygiene, and coach teams on Agile best practices; Experience estimating project scope, timelines, and resource needs, and integrating with product roadmaps; Proficiency with Agile delivery tools (Jira, Confluence, Target Process, Azure DevOps); Strong risk management, problem-solving, and issue resolution skills; Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and executive leadership; Experience with stakeholder relationship management, including translating business needs into scalable reporting solutions and supporting adoption of analytics across user groups; Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field; 4+ years of experience in Agile project management, Scrum facilitation, or technical project delivery; Demonstrated success managing delivery of cross-functional projects in enterprise data or BI environments Required Skills: Project Management, Agile Facilitation, Data Analytics, Azure, Synapse, Databricks, Dbt, ADF, Power BI, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Healthcare Data, Communication, Problem-solving, Collaboration, Adaptability
