AI Engineer

Comulate is transforming the insurance back office with AI, aiming to unlock significant savings in manual insurance operations. They are seeking an AI Engineer to build innovative products that leverage unstructured data and improve workflows in the insurance industry. Responsibilities: Building game-changing products to seize opportunities in unstructured data across documents and systems; Creating a Copilot agent to augment and automate natural language-based workflows; Developing a system to extract structured data from millions of complex, varied documents; Leveraging advancements in browser agents to automate repetitive tasks for users Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in data science or ML/data/software engineering; Understanding of LLM best practices across evals, RAG, fine-tuning, and observability; Familiarity with AI frameworks (e.g. LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar); Experience releasing and maintaining production systems; Proficiency with SQL and relational databases; Comfortable with handling ambiguity and working in a self-directed manner; Curiosity about different industries and the data + business context within them Required Skills: Data Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Large Language Models, LLM Evaluation, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, LLM Fine-tuning, LLM Observability, AI Frameworks, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Production System Maintenance, SQL, Relational Databases, Self-direction, Curiosity
