ITOM - ServiceNow Architect - Contract

Cygnus Professionals Inc. is seeking a Senior ITOM Consultant to serve as the primary architect and technical lead for enterprise-scale IT operations. This role involves transforming how organizations monitor and manage their digital infrastructure, with a focus on ServiceNow ITOM and stakeholder management. Responsibilities: Lead the design and end-to-end implementation of ITOM suites, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Cloud Provisioning; Technical ownership of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring a 'single source of truth' for all IT assets and their relationships; Build complex workflows using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub to automate routine IT tasks and remediate infrastructure alerts; Conduct design workshops with stakeholders to translate business Qualifications: 8+ years in IT infrastructure or operations, with at least 4 years specifically focused on ServiceNow ITOM implementations; ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA); Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in Discovery and Service Mapping; Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, and working with REST/SOAP APIs; Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, SNMP), server OS (Windows/Linux), and virtualization (VMware, Nutanix); Ability to mentor junior developers and lead partner delivery teams; Exceptional ability to explain technical debt and ROI to C-suite executives; Proven track record of managing complex projects via Zoom, Slack, and Jira without in-person oversight Required Skills: ServiceNow ITOM, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - Discovery, Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - Service Mapping, ITIL v4 Foundation, JavaScript, GlideScript, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Networking TCP/IP, Networking SNMP, Server OS (Windows/Linux), Virtualization VMware, Virtualization Nutanix
