Senior Full Stack Engineer

Humana Inc. is a leading U.S. healthcare company, and they are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to perform software engineering activities across all layers of the stack. The role involves leading technical architecture, mentoring a team, and delivering high-quality business-critical systems. Responsibilities: The Senior Full Stack Engineer Is involved in all stages of software development, including front-end development, back-end development, database integrations, network and hosting management, user interface, user experience, and back-end server management; Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance; Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision; uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action; On any given day you may:; Lead technical architecture and design and present vision; Problem-solving expertise using advanced data structures and algorithms; Possess the ability to evaluate problems in both strategic and tactical terms; Lead a small team of high-caliber engineers by mentoring and coaching; Senior positive change with technical vision and innovative solutions; Strong affinity to software-driven engineering & automation; Partner with senior business and functional leaders to define technical direction; Deliver business-critical systems and components with high quality and on time; Lead by example by doing hands-on platform, backend, and frontend development; Review requests and provide constructive feedback; Investigate and propose new ideas, frameworks technologies, or processes Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field; 8 or more years of progressive experience as a senior developer in large IT projects; Proficient understanding and tech-lead level experience in one or more programming languages (Java, Scala, etc.); Experience with Spring/Spring Boot; Experience with JSON, RESTful web services and client-server interactions; Experience with highly scalable websites and web services (Vue.js, Angular etc.); Knowledge of and experience with Azure or equivalent cloud provider; Environment management/orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Docker, AKS, etc.); React Native development skills alongside web development experience; Experience AI background, and worked on GCP/Claude/or any GEN AI Tools Required Skills: Cloud-based services, Software architecture design, Scalable web platform development, RESTful API development, Infrastructure as code, Security as code, Team building, Java, Scala, Spring, Spring Boot, JSON, RESTful web services, Client-server interactions, Highly scalable websites, Vue.js, Angular, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), React Native, Artificial Intelligence, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Generative AI tools, Coaching
