Job Description
Proof is the world's first identity-assured transaction management platform on a mission to digitize trust for critical transactions. The Senior Software QA Engineer will ensure the quality and reliability of software products by supporting Agile teams, developing test strategies, and executing test plans, while driving continuous improvement in testing practices.
Responsibilities:
Actively participate in weekly sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews to provide QA insights and ensure testing activities are integrated into the development process; Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and execute test cases for new features and enhancements, ensuring full coverage of functional and non-functional
Qualifications:
Actively participate in weekly sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews to provide QA insights and ensure testing activities are integrated into the development process; Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and execute test cases for new features and enhancements, ensuring full coverage of functional and non-functional requirements; Design, implement, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, WebdriverIO, Playwright) to increase testing efficiency and reliability; Ensure software updates are compatible with previous versions and functionality remains consistent across various deployments; Verify that the software functions correctly and provides a consistent user experience across different web browsers (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and their various versions; Lead and execute release regression testing cycles to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality across different platforms and environments; Evaluate the interactions introduced when combinations of prominently used features in production are used simultaneously during customer workflows; Perform performance, scale, load, and security testing to identify potential bottlenecks and vulnerabilities; Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking systems (e.g., Jira). Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues promptly; Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable rapid and reliable software releases; Define and track key quality metrics, providing regular reports on test execution progress, defect density, and overall product quality to stakeholders; Provide guidance and mentorship, promote best practices, and foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement across the team; Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and automated test scripts; Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and UX designers, to identify and resolve software defects early in the development lifecycle; Drive key quality initiatives from the initial ideation stage through to successful fruition, skillfully gathering and managing cross-functional support to ensure their completion and adoption
