Software Engineer (Audience Platform)

Quantcast is a leading company in advertising technology, revolutionizing how it works with AI-powered solutions. The Software Engineer will design, implement, and operate distributed software systems to process and analyze large volumes of internet-scale data, working closely with product and business partners. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and own solutions to big-data problems in a highly scalable way; Demonstrate analytics skills to help business customers answer questions based on Quantcast’s vast data set on internet activity; Broadly communicate knowledge and innovative methodologies within the team and the engineering organization; Participate in team-wide on-call rotations Qualifications: 0-5 years of related experience; You must be work-authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship; This is a hybrid role based in our Seattle office. To ensure a manageable commute for in-office days, candidates must reside within a 60-mile radius of Seattle, WA. No relocation candidates at this time; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience; Proven algorithmic problem-solving skills; Basic understanding of distributed systems; Proficient in Java and/or Golang Required Skills: Algorithmic problem solving, Distributed systems, Java, Golang, Cloud technologies, AWS
