Software Engineer

Funnel Leasing Inc. is a SaaS company focused on improving the renter experience through innovative software solutions. They are seeking a Software Engineer to help build configuration setting workflows and collaborate with experienced engineers and product managers on impactful projects. Responsibilities: Write code to develop new features for Funnel's software products; Write unit tests and end-to-end tests to ensure software reliability and quality; Fix bugs and contribute to improving software performance; Participate in code reviews and design discussions to improve your skills; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software Qualifications: Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related experience; 1-2 years of software engineering education or equivalent experience; Experience in Python (Django) for backend development and JavaScript (React) for frontend development; Understanding of web technologies (REST APIs, HTTP, HTML, CSS); Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment; Ability to work between 25-30 hours per week for a duration of 12 weeks; Located in New York City, NY or Charleston, SC, or within approximately one hour of either location Required Skills: Python, JavaScript, Django, React, REST APIs, HTML, CSS, Eagerness to learn
