Software QA Automation Engineer

Apple is a company that crafts innovative products and is seeking a Software QA Automation Engineer to lead automation efforts for their applications and services. The role involves ensuring quality through both automated and manual testing methods while collaborating with various teams. Responsibilities: Employ both automated and manual testing methods to ensure the quality of various apps and services; Close collaboration with cross-functional teams of software developers, other QA engineers, and project managers; Creating test plans; Monitoring test results; Investigating issues; Reporting on the quality of features Qualifications: Automation experience with high-level knowledge of modern scripting or compiled languages such as Python, Java, or Swift; Capacity to write, maintain, and execute test automation plus familiarity with Continuous Integration tools (e.g. Jenkins); Proficiency with Software Version Control systems like Git (GitHub/Gitlab); Skill in manual software testing, with a focus on UI; Experience with API testing and familiarity with server architecture; Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and SQA methodologies; Capability to investigate problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose a resolution; Can clearly communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences; B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience Required Skills: Automation experience, Python, API testing, Continuous Integration tools, Software Version Control, Manual software testing, Software development lifecycle, Problem investigation, Xcode, Testing tools maintenance, Communication skills
