Technology Activation Consultant

Clark Schaefer Consulting (CSC) is a prominent accounting and advisory firm that collaborates with Fortune 1000 companies to tackle complex technology challenges. They are seeking a Technology Activation Consultant who will work directly with clients to design, build, and deploy custom software and AI-enabled solutions while collaborating across various teams to deliver integrated results. Responsibilities: Design and deliver custom applications aligned to client business needs; Write clean, maintainable code (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, SQL); Lead end-to-end SDLC: discovery → design → build → deploy → support; Integrate enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, BI) via APIs and middleware; Use Claude Code as a primary AI‑assisted development tool; Apply AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.) to boost velocity and quality; Build AI‑enabled features using LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI); Recommend emerging AI tools that create measurable client value; Partner with CSC’s AI team on AI roadmapping, governance, and agentic AI delivery; Identify system performance gaps and implement optimizations; Build automation using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Azure) and RPA; Support IoT, control system, and hardware integration initiatives; Conduct code and architecture reviews to drive continuous improvement; Act as the technical liaison between clients and CSC teams; Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and technical presentations; Manage multiple projects using agile methodologies; Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal standards and tooling Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; 2+ years of experience in custom software development and integration; Proficiency in multiple languages (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, SQL); Hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted development tools (Claude Code Required Skills: Custom software development, Systems integration, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, SQL, AI-assisted development tools, LLM APIs, Microsoft Power Platform, Cloud platforms, Agile methodologies, Client-facing communication
