UI/UX Front-End Development Engineer

Leidos is an industry and technology leader serving government and commercial customers with smarter, more efficient digital and mission innovations. They are seeking a skilled TS/SCI cleared UI/UX Front-End Engineer to develop high-quality web applications in support of a DOD program, utilizing modern technologies and frameworks. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain web applications using ReactJS or Angular frameworks; Coding, testing, and debugging new and/or existing web applications; Implementing and refining user interfaces; Conducting thorough unit testing via automated tooling; Collaborating with other team members (internal and external) to ensure optimal performance and usability; Peer reviewing code written by fellow team members; Utilizing virtualization technologies like Docker and Podman Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline, plus 4 - 8 years relevant experience; Experience with modern front-end libraries such as ReactJS and Angular, with a minimum of 2 years professional experience; Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; Solid understanding of HTTP web requests for fetching JSON data; Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to write well-documented code; Active Top Secret level security clearance with ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance Required Skills: ReactJS, Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP web requests, JSON, Unit testing, Docker, Podman, TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
